Got a MBB offer as a lateral. End goal is FAANG. Friends at MBB say placements out of their firms into FAANG is as rare as anywhere else. Truth to that statement? Don’t think it’s worth the reset if it’s still nearly impossible either way…TIA

My resume has been getting pickup by recruiters because of my Accenture brand and the ironical phone screening usually is along the lines of “perfect, I’m going to send this to our hiring manager. I’m sure we will be going on to scheduling interviews after your resume is reviewed by the manager.” Fast forward two days and I receive an automated response “thank you for applying to XYZ we have decided to move on” why am I not even getting an interview?
