I have an interview next week and want to vet the new law firm with questions to determine if there’s a good work-life balance, respect for how work is delegated (i.e., attorneys are not routinely asked to do obvious paralegal work), and what overall systems/structures are in place to make it a functional/successful environment. What sorts of questions do you think would get this info and also cut through the usual bs of “we’re a family here” when in reality no one talks to each other?

I have interviewed for a sales representative position in a company that sales facility services. At my current job I’m only makes about $30k per year and that is hourly. No bonuses. This job makes $45k plus bonuses with a car and gas incentive. However, it’s a bit of a change in sale types. On 22nd Nov, got a call from the consultant at taggd who has been arranging all my interviews. Told my expected CTC and she seemed a bit surprised but didn't negotiate and asked if I have any other offers? I asked when can I expected the OL, she said within a week but didn't take any documents. Can I expect the OL?

Got a rejection email after reaching back out (a week later) to HR for a job I was really excited about. Had a 2 hour interview (30 minutes, 4 different people) which seemed to go really well. Asked them if they had any concerns with my experience and they all said no, my experience seems like it’s exactly what they are looking for. Met with a recruiter today who says the company is still looking for that position. Got no feedback from the company in the rejection. Feeling really defeated.

As a UX/UI designer with a non design background (just a minor in interaction design), i find it rough to get more efficient at software. Figma, sketch, adobe CC… idk if i just need more practice since it doesnt come naturally or if im in the wrong field.
