Do you actually charge the hours you work?
Hi everyone!!! Last year I put together a list of classrooms to exchange valentines with! We mailed 1 valentine to each class and included a picture if we could, and a few things about where we live and things we do!
I currently have 13 classes signed up! The more the merrier!!
We have classes CA, WI, PA, KS, TX, RI, MI, Canada, New Zealand.
I have a form to fill out if you are interested! I will email everyone the list probably at the end of the week if not sooner!

MIT Sloan released 10-year mba career survey and I am surprised by the numbers. The salary seems a bit low given that many grads went into consulting, finance and tech. Nowadays we always talk about how high the total compensation is for consulting partners, bankers and PMs, then number didn’t show the same (maybe some graduates are at international markets and thus lower salary?) What is harder to believe is 30% of the grads are under 200k?! A new grad at Sloan hits 150k+ MIT Sloan School of Management
Completely anecdotal, but I heard MBB prefers hiring non ex consultants post mba. Supposedly because they have a lot of bad habits from their prior firms. M7s will get a lot more interview spots, but once you’re in the interview stage it’s a even playing field.
I see - yeah I’ve heard that and definitely agree that once you get the interview its an even ground. But to land an interview...I can see why people with 0 prior consulting experience may need to go to feeder M7s to have a better shot.
but do big 4 consultants really need to break the m7 barrier or can they land MBB interviews just as easily at a T15 because of their prior background? Not sure if this will make a difference but I’m in tech consulting with 3 YOE...
