Business Analysts (BAs) typically rely on data-driven analysis and evidence-based methodologies to make informed decisions and recommendations. While BAs may need to make estimates or projections in certain situations, such as forecasting future trends or assessing potential outcomes, these estimates are typically based on available data, historical patterns, and statistical modeling techniques.
Guesstimates, on the other hand, are rough approximations or educated guesses that are not necessarily based on rigorous analysis or data.
