My friend has accepted the offer letter for a big 4 But doesn’t want to join for multiple reasons. What should be her next steps? Suggestions?
Is it worth to switch to a big 4?
Advice on dealing w/ difficult mgr? Specifically, she pushes team hard to get things to her review. Mgr doesn’t look at for 10-14days, then sends review comments and asks for updates by EOD/tmrw. Also not uncommon for her to interrogate team members about time they have charged, despite detailed time descriptions and hours being reasonable/in budget. Been 8 months working w her. I get anxious b4 mtgs w her. I have been interviewing. Unreasonable to ask counselor to roll off these engagements?
Joined a big 4 late in my career at 35 as a SA. On track to make M next year. Would making Partner even be possible or worth it with the mandatory retirement age?
Is it normal for a big 4 firm to take 4 weeks or longer to get back to you with a written offer?
Currently a Senior Consultant in a B4-level firm and having a hard time finding roles that I’m qualified for that make more than what I already make. How are you all finding these great exits? I have a business background - do I need to learn to code to get exits that pay?
I’m wondering what Accenture is actually doing. Is it more like a Big 4 Firm, doing theoretical consulting things. Or is it more a IT-Service/ Outsourcing company like Connection, Atos, Bechtle, etc. doing hands on technical things? Where is the main focus on?
Given all the recent buzz about expected large raises around the big 4, I’d like to level set on the average salary for a 4th/5th year female senior manager in federal tax ( credits & methods group) in the Midwest - Chicago/Minneapolis/Detroit market. Anyone willing to share a range if they work in a similar area of tax / similar level? I recognize all groups vary greatly in salary expectations, so looking for input specific to my area. Current expectations set at 140-160k. Reasonable?
The Big 4 walk into a bar. McKinsey, Bain, and BCG arrived a few minutes earlier and are ordering drinks. The other firms are already there too, in various stages of intoxication. What happens next? Who does what? Bonus points: which firm is the jaded, apathetic bartender?

Negotiation tips when jumping to big 4 and trying to negotiate the highest % possible during final interview with the partner.
Broadly speaking, for a given generic consulting role, which B4 firm pays the most? Which pays the least?
Okay… all kidding aside, is there anything positive about KPMG? The internet and social media makes fun of them. My leadership makes fun of them. Other big 4 friends make fun of them. MBB makes fun of them. Do they do that bad of a job + have that many shady things going on?
Looking for hair product recommendations! I’ve never really done much besides typical shampoo and conditioner, and I’m sick of my hair being frizzy and dry (photo in comments)

Applying for NYU One Year Tech MBA for May 2021 start. I’m currently making 120k. I can probably hit 200k in 5 years but I’m also 34. Is it worth it to get my MBA and pay 140k to work at MBB or FAANG?

Hey all, so I was initially informed my hiring process would be the following (Apple) HM interview -> Case study -> On site I completed case study last week and was informed it would take 1-2 weeks to hear back. I felt like I bombed the interview but ended up hearing back relatively quickly that I’ll be passed on for another interview (not on site). Since I am fed an additional interview before the on-site, does this mean my feedback was neutral?
