In general at a big firm SVP and up, so including C suite, would receive bonuses IF their agency exceeds revenue growth AND profit goals. Though if they do but the rest of the holding company does super poorly it can negatively impact their bonus potential. Works the other way around sometimes too.
Yes. Usually based on profit margins and revenue growth, both for your office or region, and for the global network. CCOs might get bonused on awards, new biz directors on new client revenue. It is usually a cash bonus at the end of the financial year. Long term incentive plans like stock grants will pay out on profit and revenue goals over 2-3 years. These bonuses do make a difference, but everything has to go right for several years, so they are not a certainty.
