Filler words are generally used when you lack confidence. Everyone does it but we, desi people have our own fillers. All of them as mentioned in this thread. Getting command over the language and putting some efforts into improving your vocabulary helps. I usually follow my favorite speakers and try to observe their style carefully. If you feel the need for a filler, pause. Don’t say anything. It’s okay for being silent or taking a pause. These conscious efforts help. It’s good that you are admitting it. A lot of us don’t even accept and their denial betrays them in front of a large crowd or in the business meetings.

Thanks SM. Honestly, most of the successful people are amazing speakers and have their confidence on full throttle. So my list might look superficial because I just love their depth of knowledge and command over the vocabulary and you might find them in the inspiration videos on a YouTube search. So here it goes - Kobe Bryant, Grant Cardone, Matthew McConaughey, Shashi Tharoor, Simon Sinek, Admiral William McRaven, President Obama to name a few. Even shah rukh khan is one of my fav public speakers. It has nothing to do with whether I watch his movies or not. Recent favorite, the pause expert - Darin Olien from the show down to earth. He can take all the time in his world and yet deliver quality content that’s influential. Some of the partners I work with in my firm, they have excellent communication skills and I really look up to them.
Yes, one of the MC partners did it all the time.
