I interviewed for Data Analyst role at EY, it went well and the job sounds great, but I'm a bit hesitant to leave PwC because I really like the firm and I'm just 8 months in my job as an associate at a subgroup of ITS that has some focus on technology and analytics but it's mostly tax compliance.
I do want to transition to data analytics but I'm not sure if it's a good idea to go to another big 4, or maybe just look for a position in industry.
Any advice or similar experience?

Prob depends!
If you’re planning on lying, don’t.
If a degree is a requirement for the role, yes, they will.

Thanks everyone! There are probably lots of contributing factors as you’ve mentioned — industry, type of degree, etc. In this case, I’ve been in my industry and had a great measure of success *without* a degree (I’m a domestic violence survivor and had to leave school to take care of my two young daughters when I left my husband. Yes, I got married young. Yes, it was a mistake. Yes, I should have gone back. Instead I built a career. 🤷♀️)
Despite what someone else said on another thread (everyone lies on resumes), I have never lied. Tempting in this case because I feel like the degree is irrelevant at this point, but it looks like I’ll just have to pass this one up.
