Hi all! I am looking for a remote Human Resources role, preferably at the Generalist level.

Currently SM in Deloitte leading data engineering and ML teams for commercial clients. Looking for exit ops to Amazon/ FAANGS and other cloud compnies. What type of roles i should target. I am comfortable with Program Management or client focussed delivery roles. I have been in architect roles but not doing hands on tech work for last couple of years as i manage large teams doing that. Since these companies are product heavy what type of role that Big4 SM generally transition to ,in these orgs.

Re-read ‘Fooled by randomness’ after a while and that got me thinking on the strategies are typically followed by a lot of people (investing primarily in ETFs as suggested by Jim Collins in simple path and elsewhere) and how those strategies may be influenced by survivorship bias and a host of other biases. Impact of big 4 consulting in an data engineering career.

I recently started at one of the big 4 as a DE. So far I have seen some pretty poor coding practice, lack of version control and taking short cut everywhere. Every one also highly prefer no code ETL tool. I am a little worried that this environment is bad for a DE career.
