Any employer worth working for at this point is doing unlimited PTO or 4-6 weeks for everyone regardless of tenure. An employer offering only a couple of weeks growing with tenure is a warning sign about other out of date policies

I was in your same position, unfortunately for me, slalom does not negotiate PTO. Definitely try it, but be prepared for a no (and maybe try to think of creative alternatives to propose if you get one)

Thoughts on hitting utilization targets? Our Consultant target is 90% but PTO available accounts for 10% of the year and is not subtracted from the available hours pool of the equation 😪

Hi Sharks, I got an offer yesterday from publicis sapient. But on the offer letter it is mentioned that my job has an end date that is 1year after the DOJ. I spoke to the HR she said it is common at PS to keep the employees on 1 year payroll. Kindly help me if it is good to accept the offer and if my job a contract based? Boston Consulting Group Bain & Company BCG vs Bain? I am lucky to have two offers for same city same level. I like both firms and no strong “cultural” preferences between the two. I am interested in transitioning to a PE investment team (MF) or staying in consulting long-term w/ MBA sponsorship. Bain PEG is commercially stronger but heard it doesn’t make a meaningful difference. Think BCG in general has a slightly larger reputation, esp. internationally. What factors should I be considering?
