Do folks outside of Accenture care what the difference is? Probably not...
A marketing VP at a medical device company once told me that, when it comes to exit options, the market doesn’t perceive big differences based on the firm prestige, etc. She said all consultants are the same—a bunch of really smart people who don’t actually know how to do anything lol
The Strategy person I’ve interacted with is an MIT grad. Some Vanderbilt and Northwestern grads. I’m talking undergrad - not grad school/MBA, where everyone gets in. I have been pretty impressed by him and by one of their MDs. Overall, they’re a better group of people than I originally gave them credit for.
Eh. I’m sure they have a strong digital / tech strategy arm. If you can outshine everyone around you and make MD, what’s the issue?
