Do GMAT prep courses help significantly? I have found most courses cost ~$1.5k. My goal is to score 700+, and I have been scoring around 650 on practice exams with ~50 hours of solo studying.

I know it’s common for ppl to hate landlords, but I’ve recently had an experience that explains why they are how they are. I bought a house at 23 and have had it a little over a year now living on my own. Got a tenant for one of the rooms 2 months ago and I can’t stand her. She doesn’t sweep or clean anything except her room and bathroom. She doesn’t replace seasonings or paper towels and rarely takes out the trash even though she uses everything in the house. Advice?

Spent 3 years in consulting and ready to move on. Threw an app out to Georgetown and got in with pretty minimal effort. It seems like a prestigious school plus the DC network is pretty key to my interest in Public Sector work. The thing is I didn’t really put as much effort into the b school apps as I could have and reused an old GRE score from around 3 years ago rather than study and retake it. Should I maybe hold off a year and apply to a slightly higher ranking school?

Took GMAT with 3 week prep and got 640. How many months do you guys think I need of preparation to bring up to 720+? Context: known to struggle in the past with standardized tests but I think I’m getting better. Thoughts on a potential timeline?

Making about 110K TC in industry. Been thinking about getting an MBA in 1-2 years, but not sure if it’s worth it since I’d likely exit back into strategy, which is what I’m currently doing. I think my TC by the time I finish B-School would maybe have a 20K - 30K differential depending on bonus compensation. My parents are pushing me to get one as they’ll pay for it, but I’m not sure if it’s worth it. Are there any B-School grads with thoughts on the value given my situation?
