For guys, I do think approaching women is the attractive thing to do. But so often you don’t even know if she’s there to meet people. Maybe she’s with her friends. So sometimes I’ll just not even try bc the situation doesn’t seem to call for it. So it’s nice when they come to you sometimes.

It is stupid to decide not to approach someone or not ask someone out because of gender norms.

These days a lot of dudes are taught that making moves at a bar/club are both 1) unwanted and 2) creepy/borderline sexual assault, so id say do a little bit more than eye contact.

I love it when women make the first move. I like that they're going after what they want, and it's flattering to be that thing. It's also nice to be pursued vs doing the pursuing for a change.
Can't spend life waiting for things to happen to you. If you want something, go get it. I'm sure you know guys can be bad at reading signals, especially something as ambiguous as making eye contact with a random person in a crowded room.
Much like women, men like being approached by individuals they find attractive, but find being approached by people they find unattractive to be burdensome.
Men aren't mind readers. If you're interested in your eye contact isn't cutting it, go say hi.
