Yes. Make sure you phrase it to say you were riding a bird.

lol if you used it for legit transport to/from the client, and you usually take a lyft anyway, then yeah expense away! 🐦

like

@P1 our policy is actually that we can only expense a non-routine use of non-free transportation if it’s raining and the day of the week has an even number of letters and if the day of the month is a prime number

likefunny

If I normally walk to the client and decide one day to take an Uber because it’s raining then that expense is still legitimate. Your point doesn’t make sense unless you have some kind of strangely specific rule at Accenture.

like

Interesting. Hadn’t considered that. Don’t see how it’s not legit.

like

Not legit is when he/she normally walks to the client. Thus, bird would then be an extra, unnecessary expense

Plausible

Only if you made bird like noises as you were scooting by. Sorry strict company rules.

Looking for some advice. I’m in very early pregnancy, and thus only my husband and I know. My firm is doing a conference with approximately 50-100 people for two days this month, so I still won’t be telling anyone as I’ll only be about 9 weeks. I’m currently vaccinated, and the conference is requiring anyone unvaccinated to take a PCR test prior to arrival and wear a mask the entire time, but I’m extremely anxious to go given the increased risk of Covid and pregnancy. Should I go?

Many are wondering what’s wrong with ClearView. The problem is straightforward, if the way ClearView is organizing a project such that when one analyst or senior analyst (22 to 24 year old) fails at something, stakes are high enough that an project’s fate depends on it, then ClearView is putting way too much responsibility on its Junior staff, not promoting and severely underpaying them. Maybe it’s time ClearView brought in a consulting firm to ease its org problems
