Does the pay different make up for the cost of an MBA?
I wouldn’t get an MBA just to get it - rather it should open some door for you, fit into your overall plan etc
If they pay for it, and you are willing to put the time for it, then by all means go get it. It all comes down to marketing. If you have an MBA then you will look better for your firm and it'll be easier to leverage your skillset. I got my MBA and happy I did, however I would not pay for it.

If it’s a top 15 program then go for it. The value of the MBA is in the name. Don’t go to some no-name program though
