Hello,
I have an accepted offer from Amazon with start date early next month. With the hiring freeze in place I am worried that layoffs will be next and new hires are more at risk when it comes to layoffs. This is making me wonder if it is good time to switch. Would really appreciate some input in this matter.

I always tip anyone who performs a service for me. Even if it’s the owner, just feels like the right thing to do.
If it’s the owner- no. You tip anyone renting a stall at a salon. That said- there’s a lot of tip creep today and I feel like people tip 20% + for everything now.
30 years in the salon industry. Rented, worked on commission and had my own salon. I have always heard no need to tip the salon owner. With that being said owners do not typically make money off their renters after paying their own lease, utilities and supplies. The truth is clients who tip will always garner VIP treatment… such as last minute booking, staying late, coming in early, grace for tardiness and cancelations….. before anyone blasts me… it’s the truth. All clients are treated well and deserve great quality treatment…. But showing appreciation for a service goes along way when deciding if I am booking a 7 am on Saturday because I have no other appointments available.
Yes, tip the person who has rendered the service 20%
Yes. 15-20%. If the owner of a restaurant waits on you or if you didn't know they were the owner you would still tip.
I would give a minimal tip. I paid for a $200 treatment in cash and gave my stylist/owner an extra $20 but I also hear of ppl not tipping at all the the salon owner, which I personally think is fine
I’ve heard the ‘don’t tip the owner’ thing, but I see the owner of my salon and still tip 20%. That said, I don’t get my hair colored so it’s in the $100 range.
