Hi All,
Currently I am working as a senior consultant in Oracle CAGBU unit. I want to leave the organisation due to lack of interest in their utility framework. If I leave organisation by 25th of July, will I get my variable pay which I have been waiting for ? My NP is 30 days.
Genuine suggestions please …
It's actually getting kinda scary out there...

Earnings for this week.!

Hey Mamas! I am hosting a free workshop tomorrow: Decrease Your Work Anxiety Durning Uncertain Times ⚡️
I'll be teaching all the tools I used when I was a Vice President in corporate. I also pulled all these practices out when I had my daughter because turns out.. motherhood is #stressful 😅

We just got a crib. One less transition and one less expense.
Highly recommend the Owlet sock for every baby. 1000% worth the money. We went straight to the crib with my second because our first was too distracted in our room and we ended up moving her to her crib by week 2.
We used a bassinet for the first few months so the baby could be right by me. It made it a lot easier for nursing than having to get up to go to baby’s room.
Will your baby be sleeping in the same room as you? If so, bassinet is good to have since it’s smaller and is portable so you can wheel it around your room and house.
Or go with mini crib. It's also portable.

I bought a pack n play that has a bassinet attachment and used that.
We didn’t even get a crib. We got a pack and play and used that bassinet, and then we used it as my son’s crib. There are baby mattresses that fit a pack and play. Apparently they may be “unsafe” if they aren’t fitting your specific pnp, but there were no gaps so we felt comfortable. At 1.5, My son is still using the pnp in our room as his main bed and will do so until we transition him to a floor bed around age 2. Best yet - got the pnp at a consignment sale for $30.
Our nursery has a bed too so we skipped bassinet and just got a crib. Baby sleeps in crib and one parent in nursery bed to be nearby. You need something for baby to sleep in near you at night, so I think the choice expends on your adult bed locations.
We just got a crib in a separate room (very close to our bedroom) and a baby monitor. So far so good. But choose what works for you. We like the ability for one parent to take care of the baby and another to try and catch some sleep behind the closed door. But all recommendations say you should sleep in one room with your baby. 🤷🏼♀️
I liked the portability of the bassinet in the early days but to be honest the baby mostly slept on us for the first 5 weeks so we didn’t get much use of it. We then got a Snoo, and then at 3 months loved her to the crib because she became an escape artist and we were afraid she’d hurt herself

We did bassinet in our room for about 3 months, then pack and play in our room for another 2 months or so and then moved baby to her own room. You’re supposed to room share with baby for the first 12 months as SIDS prevention, but our room is small and by 5 months it just wasn’t working out great anymore for us. I did like the bassinet at first because when they’re super tiny it’s convenient to have them right next to you and place a hand on them for soothing, paci replacement, etc.
We borrowed a bassinet. We only needed it for about 6-8 weeks. My kid needed the snuggling safe space it provided. The crib didn’t work for her until about 8 weeks I think. It was all hazy. For us our kid drove the decision. It was nice to have for night feeding.
We bought a travel bassinet to put him in when he was very tiny, it let us feel like he was safe, and could be moved wherever we needed it to be. It eventually lived IN his crib for a while, and now that he's almost out grown it we have just removed it and use just the crib itself.
I liked the bassinet for the first ~2 months. That way, the baby could sleep in my room at night. The crib was a big move, once they started sleeping through the night more. Plus it'll make you feel better knowing your little one is sleeping safely next to you.
We used the Greco dream glider in our room and had a crib in the nursery.
We got both. Portable bassinet for bed aide sleeping and lounging around the home, and a mini crib because nyc apartments are small.
We got a mini crib which stayed in our bedroom (1 bedroom NYC apartment!) - lol he’s still in it now at 27 months
Get the crib. You are going to outgrow the bassinet very quickly.
We got a $80 bassinet from Amazon - planning to use it for the first weeks/couple months max and then save for second one or donate - then it will be crib - just want to have the baby nearby while I recover from delivery and to make nursing easier the first weeks
Had our baby a few weeks ago and we’re using a pack and play with bassinet attachments. Baby sleeps fine in it. Not aesthetic like a crib, but good if you’re looking to go minimal with purchases.
