Do I need to get a plant saucer for my snake plants and philodendron? Is that the norm? I don’t have one right now, but I want to water my plants. 😅

You don't "need" to have a saucer, but they are quite useful in case of accidental over watering to protect your furniture

Gotcha. Thank you! I’m just gonna use a temporary make shift saucer for now.

like

Fwiw, you should never be watering your snake plant enough that it needs to drain, they like to stay quite dry

I personally have the saucers and cork pads underneath the saucers to protect furniture. Even clay saucers can leak a little bit and I had an issue with some of my furniture, thankfully cheap stuff, getting water damage.
