For those who were diagnosed as an adult can you provide some insight into how you were able to obtain a diagnosis. I went to my primary care dr who referred me to another dr who specialized in mental health. He asked me about 5 questions before telling me I should see a neuropsychologist for an official assessment. The referral he gave me is super pricey and apparently isn’t covered by insurance. Is that normal?

My firm is not disclosing when people that tested covid positive come in to the office. Are any other firms doing this?

My parents can't get vaccinated, and knowing this information would decide whether I see them.

As someone with ADHD, the impulsive side of me speaks up in meetings without fully processing the information. Then when corrected, I beat myself up for the rest of the day.

What has ended up happening over time is that I have started to come off as an introvert (because of the fear of being wrong) and also with low confidence. This is not a good trait in client facing roles where we are constantly making recommendations and clients look up to us.

I started working out and cleaned up my diet with the main goal being weight loss, but I'm really frustrated.

Mom of two here (21 month old and 5 month old) who is starting to consider having a third. I am in my late 30’s and my doctor just recommended I start trying at 6 months postpartum. I have ADHD and executive dysfunction, resulting in horrid eating habits my whole life. My body just doesn’t tell me it is hungry and pre-pregnancy, I could go days without eating. My husband is the same way. I am panicked about staying on top of baby feedings and noticing patterns. The Pocket Nanny tracker where you press the button of the feed, diaper change, etc, seems to be popular but doesn’t log it anywhere. Has anyone heard of these and have a recommendation for one that logs as well?

Started wearing a support belt per my doctors recommendation because I’ve been having pelvic pain. Wore it for the first time today and this baby will not stop moving. Now wondering if I’m choking my baby and maybe she doesn’t like this belt? I haven’t felt the pain I normally feel and no back pain this morning but now I’m feeling bad. I don’t want to have comfort if it’s causing discomfort on my baby. Anyone experienced this?
