Currently an M interviewing for an SM industry role. Pay would be roughly the same as my current salary. Recruiter was vague on total comp but briefly touched benefits including 10k-25k for degree programs per year, roughly 18% annual bonus, & an unknown amount of RSUs.
What left a sour impression was that the recruiter couldn’t respond to a “TC” number, scheduled a connect in <24 hours, called me 5 minutes late for a 30 minute call & put me on hold for a personal call 🙄. 🚩🚩or HR being HR?
I was laid off from Deloitte in the 18th. I have an interview with Amazon for a Senior Program Managers Non Technical position with Amazon hiring manager on Monday. Any advice would be much appreciated. I would love to get into Amazon. I hear their interview process is brutal.

Hi everyone, I just had a first round interview for Deloitte M&A Valuation Analyst role based in Australia. I feel like I went pretty well, they were pretty keen at my Analytics background ( DA/Modelling) & my interest in finance (preparing CFA L1 atm)
However I haven’t heard back anything after two days(e.g. book my time for round 2 interview)…I know there is supposed to two more round of interviews.
Just wondering if this is the normal waiting time or I’m not the person they looking?
I was invited to interview by a recruiter at G for a BizOps strategy role based in California. I currently live in the Denver area, SO is in grad school. Is Google flexible with work location? Even for the first year or so?

Has anyone else run into this problem? Please any advice would help. Thanks so much.
Moms, my Nanny of 1 month had some papers today where it looked like she was preparing for a job interview. What would you do? Ask her or start looking for someone new? We pay $21/hr with all usual benefits.
Had a Zoom interview where I was told that the only reason I got the interview was out of courtesy for the person who sent them my work.
What does YOE really mean? Is that total overall or just since you’ve been in corporate environment? I feel like when applying to jobs I see “x” amount of years, but not sure how to judge that
I recently interviewed for a job and they said they have more interviews and will let me know when the decision is made. It has been 2 weeks now. Is it safe to say they took a pass? Do you think it’s too soon to reach out and see what’s going on?

Feeling intimidated. I’m working toward my CPA but I’d love to bail on public accounting. I’m an S1 in Trust/Assurance. Looking at jobs posted on LinkedIn and there were a couple positions I might be interested in but they already have a hundred or more applications. I’m ok at interviews but I’m not great. Everyone is saying the job market is so hot right now but obviously we can’t all land The job. How the heck does someone like me stand out?
Has anyone gotten an interview invite from CBS for regular decision? I saw one on Clear Admit but through consortium.

Received a job offer after almost a year of unemployment. The job title was posted as a hybrid of two positions but the offer was titled only one of the two (and frankly the less desirable one). Is it out of bounds to ask/push for a different title? I’d be happy with the one posted with the job even! Due to the current state of the world I’m taking a significant pay cut - around $40k.

For a linear regression analysis… the equation of a line is Y=MX+B, where M is the slope. So if I’m measuring a line across 365 days and M=.2, can I say that I have increased production by 20% over a year. Or is production increasing 20% each day?

Hi! I am 4 years into Healthcare Marketing with most of my experience being in design, social media, and content creation. I also do a lot of blog writing and collateral creation. I am currently with a company that is working on a new role for me and I was previously at another company doing more recruitment-oriented marketing. I'd say that now I have quite a bit more I can offer. I am working remotely and love this job. What is a fair salary for the skills and experience that I have?
How soon should someone start thinking about pursuing CFP or CFA designation? What are the requirements and is it worth it?

Have you ever asked your firm if you could transfer offices for personal reasons (eg to be closer to family)? What was their response? Any advice?
Maybe it’s the pandemic, maybe its the lack of social interaction, and inability to go out on the weekend. But lately I’ve been having tons of anxiety.
The firm is great. I’m being paid above market rate, no cut (yet), still have my perks, but these emails I get from one of the managing partners gives me anxiety. To be fair, I’m probably overreacting. But when I get emails like I’m disappointed, I have to rewrite this, oh this is wrong w this. I get super anxious and annoyed

Lateraling soon. Just need to complete the conflicts and sign on the dotted line. However, I am getting calls from potential new clients and some people that I have talked to that said they will need legal help soon and have now come knocking. I haven’t told my firm yet and don’t plan too for another week. How do I deal with this? I don’t want to turn away these clients and I think it could look suspicious to my current firm and I haven’t figured out if I can take the clients with me yet.
