5/2021: F1 STEM OPT/EAD expires
8/2021: need new F1 to attend grad school - now I know I need to leave the US and apply for new F1 visa from my home country. But I won’t be able to leave the US with I 485 pending, UNLESS I get advanced parole, but even that takes 120 days. Do I have any options other than to go home and reapply for F1 before filing I485? ‼️DATING SOMEONE IN COMPETING FIRM‼️Anyone have any experience dating someone that works at a competitor ? I’m a new hire and I’ve been reading the policies and it seems really strict. For ex:

(1) can a person at MasterCard date someone working for a competitor (AmEx) or merchant partner (any company that accepts MasterCard ex: Google) ?

And (2) If they CAN date, does this need to be reported to their leader and HR, etc ? (Most people don’t want their company knowing about their personal life)

Starting a new job as an immigration attorney with 4 years of experience at nonprofits doing USCIS filings under my belt but I’m making $75k at a firm with 3 partners, another associate, and about a dozen support staff. I’m having a super hard time finding a job in pharma R&D, all the jobs available seem to be analytical - I have 4 years experience working in a lab (3yrs at a CRO & 1yr working as an associate scientist on a drug product development team). I got an offer for a senior research associate ($60k) but I currently am an associate scientist in MD making $75k. Do R&D pharma jobs exist in the Denver/Boulder area? Is it me or are the salaries low because everyone wants to live in Denver?

If I have a flight that leaves at 10pm ET and arrives in London at 10:30am (local time), what meals do you get served on the flight? It’s a British Airways flight. I usually take flights to Europe that are a little earlier so they usually serve dinner and then a lighter breakfast but wondering what they do for such a late departure time.
