Do MBA programs like public sector/social impact consultants?

Anyone else get rejected from all the schools they applied to in round 2? I thought I had a great shot to get into at least one of H/S/ Haas/Booth/Kellogg, but I’m pretty shocked at none. Stats:

Have the GMAT in 3 weeks. Over the last month, I’ve been scoring in my target range on practice tests, but took one today and even though it felt good, I did very poorly (60-80 point drop). I know this is probably an outlier, but I’m tempted to take another practice test tmm to try to boost my confidence again. Is this a bad idea/ an overreaction?

When is getting a Masters in Finance more valuable than an MBA?

I'm SHRM-SCP certified and I have been interested in the total rewards or compensation side of HR. Do you think that getting the CCP certification is a good investment? I've seen many Total Rewards open positions but I feel I don't have the necessary experience. Any advices?

I’m in Tax, and will finish my CPA hopefully by the end of the year (2/4 passed). I’m 31, 5 years of exp in PA, 2 at B4; and I want out. I’m looking to move into the finance world. If masters I have to do in US or UK, so GRE, GMAT.
If for learning and tech experience I can learn tech stacks.
But I am confused between this.
Could you please tell or suggest what would be a better choice? Is doing masters in US or UK is a better ROI or be in India and gain exp and earn more by switching?

I’ve been a PM for the last few years after working in tech consulting with Accenture. Current role is mix of product management and strategy. Anyone with similar experience pursuing a MBA? If so, what’s your rationale?

Is anyone else applying while in school for something else? Do you also feel pressured to be "perfect" since we need to attach transcripts to our application, where quantitative declines in performance are clearly visible?

My grades are not going to be pretty this term... Ngl it's a bit hard to not be bitter knowing that I can't disguise the clear quantitative tank in my performance while I could disguise it if I were working instead.
