Do MBA programs look at 3 YOE at matriculation negatively? Not from an elite consulting firm. Aiming for top 12ish

3 YOE is on the lighter side of experience regardless of firm. Idk about negatively, it just gives you less time to show development/leadership, but if you have those down, i don’t think it’d hurt you.

Wrapping up an MBA this semester. I expect to finish with a 4.0 if that matters. Been self employed running a small business for the past 2.5 years, but the industry is going to be struggling for a while. I can starve it out, but I’m also revisiting an interest in consulting that I didn’t pursue many years ago. I feel a bit off the typical path. Wondering if anyone has any guidance as I explore this further.

I'm at a career juncture and have decided on a career in anti-money laundering as my new path. I'm also highly interested in additional education to further my career and am eyeing graduate school. Which is best? A law degree or a master's in international relations? Those are where my interests lie. I keep reading that JDs are valued in compliance but am wondering if a different graduate program is better for my goals. I already plan to obtain the CAMS certification. Thank you!

My dilemma… I am an injury adjuster at a carrier experiencing high inventory that’s barely manageable. A competitor offered a higher salary and manageable workload. BUT, I would like to get into underwriting. I applied for UW position w/ a different carrier and they’ve made an offer. Do I take the high salary and stay in claims or go for UW in hopes it will be best in long run?
