So I've had 2 hiring managers and several recruiters from Amazon reach out to me about applying for some open positions with the company (android). I completed the coding assessment and now they want me to go through a round of 5 hour interviews next week. Is there a good chance I'll be hired if engineering managers are reaching out to me? I'm really not sure how badly I want to work for them and I don't want to be laid off months after being hired on. Anyone know what Amazon hiring is like?

Have a formal offer at Citi for 120K as an AVP in the NY office. Currently making 92K at my current role where I feel there’s not much room to grow anymore. Is this a fair offer? I currently WFH pretty much full time at my current role which has been amazing, but it seems like Citi would require me to be there 2-3 days in the office per week - and this is something I’m very hesitant about. My current CTC 13 lpa/8 YOE, Python developer. Im selected for TCS, i told expected 25 lpa, she told we can give max 19 lpa, i told i have to think, she cut call, next day she told to join call to take screenshot with ID. It's been a week, they didn't send CTC break up, status is "evaluation in progress". They rejected me? Can I expect offer? TIA Tata Consultancy

Not really. We do some ops DDs but it’s more assessing the operations/ supply chain aspect of a target instead of just the commercial side.
We don’t directly typically hire into practices, except for our Private Equity Group. We hires B4 all the time, so I would apply to the general consulting pool and just express interest in M&A and PMI throughout the process.
Of course, McK runs prep for Day 1 and beyond - it’s a combination of process management, value capture plan build, target op model design, etc. Having said that - it depends what you’re looking for - e.g., we would normally not prepare the IT systems orchestration but we would make sure this happens and we could provide high level guidance, etc.
