What are people’s thoughts on the crypto.com app and their currency CRO? The debit cards they released come with honestly some great benefits (free Spotify/netflix subscription, 10%+ on staking, free airport lounge access) as long as you’re willing to stake a certain amount for 180 days.
Would love to hear from anyone who has contemplated and either decided for or against! Also which card level did you jump in at if you did?

I too destroy my credit young then had to build it completely back up. There is a magic formula:
-low balances (if ever)
-diversification of account types
-length of credit history
-on time payments
-very few credit inquiries
Stay the course.
I brought my self back from 450 to 791 over about 3 years of fixing
Kudos and thank you for sharing
Yes. I’ve been told Experian has a picture of me on their offices below the word “Perfection”
I royally, fabulously, and just gloriously tanked my credit in college. It was awful. I then spent years after getting back on track and my shit together. It was a huge milestone for me a couple years back when I finally sailed passed 800 on all three companies. Now I keep it pegged there.

Applied for a loan last week, and scores came back as 829 for spouse and 826 for me. This is the highest it has ever been for us I think, though we've been 800+ for almost a decade now.

Not perfect, 820. 850 would be perfect

825-845 here. It's certainly been easier to keep it higher during pandemic, since my balances are a bit lower with less spending overall. The trick to having higher scores is always paying on time (auto-pay) and having cards open that you don't really use. I've had these accounts open for a long time, only put small recurring charges on them like EZPass or occasional cup of coffee, and pay it off immediately. I also don't churn cards so I don't have tons of new inquiries.
