Do most of your clients like to be on site for the entirety of the engagement or are they okay with you coming in for a couple weeks and then working remotely?

Depends on the client and their budget! I’ve had a client who had me travel every week but was ok with me not every now and then to the client I have now where I haven’t travelled in 7 weeks and now they want me to travel! I’m glad, I was bored at home

We usually push remote work as much as possible. Maybe meet for a day or two max and go remote the rest of the time

Really depends on the client and project. No one is going to be able to say definitively. Why do you ask?

I have a client that’s demanding we stay on site for the entire project and very averse to us working remotely even for a day or two. I just wanted to know if it was reasonable and to expect this with other engagements

I always try to remind them the cost incurred for extended on site visits. Stretched costs usually don't reflect well on the process owner to their internal leadership

Yea they have to pay more money for that but honestly not a ton you can do until you guys develop that trust
