Is my manager forcing me out?
In our 121 last we had a good discussion on creating a personal development plan, with the idea being I’d write down clear goals & action points to get from my current level to the next, and I’d provide weekly evidence of it. I prepped the doc accordingly, but instead of wanting to discuss it, he said I have 4 weeks to “turn things around” - without giving any new info on what I’ve done wrong - esp given I wrote my goals based on this same feedback from last week??
I got selected in Infosys as Senior Consultant. Released offer is 19.4LPA inclusive variables. I feel infosys lowballed me with this offer. Please share your inputs 🙏

Does anyone have a contact/name for a recruiter at FCB (or FCB or Area 23) ? For entry-level account positions.
Does anyone have a sublet that they would be willing to rent out for about 2 weeks to a month?
Anyone signed an offer in this climate and then gotten a much better one soon after starting at the new place?
What do I do? New offer is a career-defining place, current offer is great $$$.

Has anyone here exited to a Visa Product Manager role? How have you liked it? What are the different levels within product management there and how do they vary in terms of compensation? TIA
I have got two offers:
Total YOE: 4.10 years
Freshworks: (x - 3) fixed + 3 lakhs JB
Morgan Stanley: (x) fixed
Kindly help in selecting the offer on the basis of WLB, company benefits and job security. For Freshworks I have just got the salary breakup as of now, so let me know if I should negotiate more. Also what is the notice period at Freshworks if someone can confirm. Thanks.
I miss my ex :/ I broke up with him and I know it was right decision, but it still sucks.

No Tipping All-Inclusive Resorts
Does anyone have any suggestions about places where you can stay without the hassle/expectation to be tipping everyone all the time?
I hate having to give tips for everything when I'm on vacation. I don't want to be carrying cash around. In fact, I don't even want to be thinking about it. I just want to relax!
To be clear, this isn't about the money. It's about the hassle. I'd just rather pay an upfront gratuity fee that covers all of tips for the entire stay.
Candidates: how long do you expect a job interview process (from first contact to offer letter) to last? And how long has it actually lasted for you?
Trying to bridge that gap between my clients and candidates.
But also wondering if the time span has shortened over the years. It used to be candidates needed time to walk through it, really consider fit, etc. Now seems candidates are ready to rock after maybe 3 weeks and consider it a con on the company if they take longer.
Thanks for input .
Whenever I pass gas my dog tries to bury my butt with a blanket. Does anybody else’s dog do this or have any idea why?
Currently working full time for a partner firm in India as integration consultant. Is it allowed to work as a freelancer to support other customer workday related work for some extra income per month. Kindly advice fishes?
Kindly share your thoughts over this:
I am about to resign and will have to serve notice of 90 days which I don't want. Secondly I also don't want to reveal my offer as the hr will try to retain me(don't want this as well)
I am planning to give them a reason to negotiate over the notice period that I am getting married off and will have to shift to another town
Help me out with the cross questioning I may face in this discussion.Want to close the deal on good terms and in my favor
Letters are out!!

I am a first-year in big law who started earlier this year. I am on pace to bill around 140 this month and I feel like I am not doing enough work. I’ve consistently reached out to partners but am not getting staffed on assignments. Today I did barely any work. I keep hearing about how slammed firms have been recently and am nervous that I’m not doing what I’m supposed to be doing. Is this a common enough experience when you first start out? What could I be doing differently to be more visible?

Most likely getting fired, tips on how to find a job ASAP? I made a pretty big mistake that required supplemental filings with government offices to fix (missed some items when reviewing/comparing long lists of things across 20-30 years). It’s fixable and the client isn’t really getting hurt by this (worst case signing gets delayed), but my anxiety is telling me to prepare for the worst. Can I ask for extra time at the firm to find a new job (so I wasn’t “fired”)? Or should I go for severance?
I’ve been in NY biglaw for almost 3 years now. Was given the opportunity to go to a satellite office to help build the practice. I have the option to return in 2 or 3 years if I don’t love it. Would you take it? The pay is a bit more.
