6 hours looking at Instagram and memes and 6 hours working (bathroom breaks during the latter 6 hours only, it’s policy)
so you sweat and clench your way through memes and insta? sounds painful
A lot of time spent stuck in meetings, waiting for work/comments to turn around so I’m tied to my laptop, waiting for excel to stop (Not Responding), etc.
I barely ever work 12 hours per day. A normal day is probably 4 hours but it ebbs and flows depending on projects and level of effort.
I definitely do pretty much every day. I think the more senior you get, the fewer things you are truly waiting on review for, and the more that is on your plate. Eventually you have to start deprioritizing otherwise it is impossible to fit everything into the day
Really depends on the project. When I say I am working 12 hours a day on a project (billable) it’s likely a 14 or 15 hour day at the computer if you account for admin work, eating, mini-breaks throughout the day, etc.
I work constantly.
