Any insights on Jane Street rotational infrastructure development program? Interviewing this week. Can’t tell if it’s a desirable exit from consulting (I’m 1 year tenured analyst) or just back office
Are any top consulting firms hiring for experienced analysts currently? I know ACN and some others are cyclical for resources 2-3 years out of college, but I’m looking to make a move sooner than fall
Need some advice from the fish... I got an offer from another shop that’s very competitive with my current salary. Same role. Should I take it and run or give my current shop a chance to rebut?
Just applied to a CEO role on Indeed for a shitty tech recruitment company... My cover letter said "F500 in 3 years or your money back"

SC asked to play up a role and manage a project and initial reaction is to freak out. Will it all be ok?
So many burned out colleagues I've met over the years are planning an industry exit strategy, either soon or down the line. Are you thinking of leaving the biz, for what, and why?
Is it true that if you don’t hear back within 3 days after an application/employee referral it’s usually a no go? I’ve heard that from a bunch of people.
Some of these posts are ridiculous. They’re like just exited consulting to FAANG/Niche Startup with $150k base and $400k TC with 6 months of experience, you can do it too! Then they ghost or explain that they are a former SWE 😬 coming from MBB. Going to some super Niche role that people with crazy backgrounds are recruited for. Congrats, but not everyone has that background
I assert myself and take on a a team lead role but may be stepping on toes. I feel like that’s my natural personality so it’s authentic. Should I give a s**t about what others think? Or do my thing?
Received an offer for BCG’s Knowledge Team, and understand the largely non-client facing nature of the work. Can others chime in on the upsides of the role / growth trajectory ?

Regarding layoffs, would anyone accept a pay cut to keep their current position? I wonder if that’s a viable solution when you have to cut costs, but also want to keep reasonably talented people.
Are you an RPA expert with 3-5 years of experience and looking to transition into BFSI? IM for details. I am hiring.

Hello 🐠, I’m building a site where you can find travel recommendations from your friends and family! It seems like I’m not the only one who asks around for word of mouth suggestions (looking at the posts on this bowl 🙂). With all of the travelling that we do (pre/post covid) I know you all have great recommendations from personal, flex, and work travel. It’ll be launching soon so please sign up if sounds like something you’d use - I’d also love to get your thoughts! www.travoshare.com

There is a lot of confusion regarding the new executive order for nonimmigration visa signed by orange man yesterday. This is an interpretation by immigration lawyers: By the terms of the order, it applies to individuals who are outside the U.S. without currently valid visas who are seeking to enter the U.S. The order does not appear limit processing of petitions filed with USCIS from within the U.S.

It seems a lot of people in this area are looking to get out...am I making a mistake by looking to get in?
