Do people who take parental leave multiple times as associates get pushed pack on their track to partnership? For example, at a firm with a 8 year track, would a person who took two leaves of six months each have to wait 9 years to make partner?

How is Google from a pregnancy/maternity support standpoint? Considering applying for a role, but likely will aim to have a child within the next year. Would they be accommodating? Do people usually come back from maternity leave into the same role or a different role?

I feel like I keep finding out these random benefits that I was never aware of. What have others found to be their favorite benefit?

Do you all feel that the Health Insurance choice is actually all the same? The coverage is absolutely copy and paste for Bronze to Platinum and the deductible/copay is very similar.
I just don’t understand why we have the illusion of “choice” if the offer is the same and it is really bad (in our case).
Going from $61 per paycheck for 2.5k deductible 75% copay to $500+ per paycheck with 500 deductible 85% copay.

I tried so hard today to finish all my errands and read and even worked out. And I'm taking medication and keeping my diet healthy. But today I realized I don't have anyone to talk to anymore when this image of me hanging keep popping up in my head. I couldn't even tell my psychiatrist. I am prior military and went to law school. I had a family to take care of while I was a student, hence I went as fast as possible to get to a paycheck, graduating in 2 years, and bypassing the standard summer clerkships. How could I get some experience strictly remote? I am w-2 working as an accountant in healthcare, have passed the bar and am working on my CPA license (studying starts at 3 am, then work FT). People who don’t submit their time daily, how do you remember what you did and for how long?
