Not unless you tell them - it’s all Deloitte to them

Very few will know the difference. Don't offer up information they don't ask for and use up that brand recognition before it's not worth anything.

They do, because you don’t know the difference between your and you’re. Jokes aside, no. Unless you tell them or they were part of the firm before and know that lake Mary, etc. equals a USDC office.

Yes, they know the difference very well. I’m sure about the big four, Google and Facebook.

@D6 how are you liking PWC?

its in your benefit if you mention usdc.... unless you are eyeing a management consulting job at MBB or other consulting work..... usdc / technical work will weigh over core if you are eyeing next tech firm or even teck position at industry.... core will weigh over usdc if you are eyeing to be a partner at MBB or other management consulting firm.. the only thing core does better than usdc is the seller job or S&A implementations

I was technical and I did not emphasize the difference when switching - it worked to my favor. Emphasizing the diff stresses that you are a great fit for technical offshore work that couldn’t be done offshore, but might potentially lack communication and client facing skills. It doesn’t do you any favors, let the brand speak for itself, no need to justify it. I agree with D10, educating an employer will always cost you.

No. Even if you told them they probably wouldn’t know what you’re talking about

Almost never

How will the H1b process work for those getting seleted in round 2? I mean, October 1 is around the corner.

I’ve now had 2 instances where a tech startup calls me the day after final round to tell me feedback is positive and ask logistics questions (relocation, start date, vague comp discussion). Then they reject me the next day saying “some discussions happened in the room that didn’t come up in written feedback” Wtf is going on.
