Do ppl have recent experience on getting EAD after filling form I485? I’m in that process and trying to understand how much time it would take for my wife to get her EAD through I485.

I work for a company that manages and distributed for 7 international brands. I am currently the e-commerce manager, over seeing a team of 4ppl, and we manage the customer service and experience /website for 5 (6 soon) of those 7 brands. I currently make 75K with bonus probably 82K. Do you think I’m being low balled? Should I ask for a raise?

I currently make 78k at Lockheed but I’m not doing what I’d like to be doing and i felt stuck and after many conversations with my manager and no solution in sight, I started applying elsewhere. I just recently got an offer from a smaller AI company for 95k that I plan to accept. I’m happy to make the jump, I just don’t know how my manager/coworkers will react when I tell them I’m leaving.

Just got an interview call for Telecom consultant role in Infosys.

HR asked for video interview and I dont mind that. I replied the HR that panel also puts on their web cam. It's not a healthy way to communicate during inteview when panel remains on audio (and perhaps in their shorts and baniyan ) :D

And interviewing the candidate wearing formals.

My I140 was approved a month back and I have no time left on H1B (exhausted my 6 years limit). If company choose to revoke my i140 within 180 days will I be no longer eligible to extend my H1b with another employer?

Tried to renew my driver's license while H1B extension is still being processed. I have letter from my employer stating my legal status is good for 240 days and receipt showing extension application submitted. Still got denied at the DMV. They said I need the new I 797. Hi guys! 2 questions if anyone knows:
1. Can I have my home address be in a different state while my home office is in a different state? My roommates and I are thinking of breaking our lease due to COVID-19 since we’re all quarantining out of state. I’m currently on OPT and my H1B will kick in in October. I am allowed to work from another state on OPT but I’m concerned on whether updating my home address to a different state will raise concerns.

I am in a bind right now. My priority date is December 2013 EB2 India. Considering final action dates for EB3 in October my date was current. Hence I am in process of filing a EB3 downgrade and AOS. However the November visa bulletin has retrograde the dates to Jan 2012 for EB3. Many are saying EB2 will move ahead than EB3 eventually. With this background should I just cancel the downgrade plan or at least get the EAD and AP while at it? I have my EB2 I-140 approved.

Any recommendations on family-based immigration lawyer for consultation? Had filed i-130 for mom in February of last year, which was subsequently approved and she has been documentarily qualified for months after we completed the other forms.
