Rockpoint was hiring attorneys

What kind of experience would you need for this sort of thing

Huh? I guess we have a different idea of litigation financing. I’m thinking Buford-like companies and they are v picky.

Really thinking ahead: Hi all, I am expecting an offer from Amazon for an L7 non tech role and they said they can go up to $650k in intial screening calls. I am currently a non tech L6 at Google $378k, 1.5 years and promotion to L7 best case scenario in 6 months, but who knows. Also an H1B visa which means any move takes ~2 months from offer signing to joining. Questions for this group (contd.) Google

I see a lot of posts about raises and bonuses for the end of year and comments whether or not “your” salary compares to someone else (in a higher or lower position). QUESTION: how do you know what your peers are even earning (aside from big law, maybe)? And, assuming they tell the truth. How can you compare?

I probably encounter something like this every 6 months. I still contend that strategy is suffering from general attrition due to the efficiency squeeze by clients.

Crossposted. Looking for advice. I’ve got 10+ years as an attorney and have been trying to go in house for over a year. I have a generalist background (although I’m primarily a litigator) and was a partner at an Amlaw 100 firm. I’ve had my resume reviewed and keep getting great feedback. Not getting many interviews and when I do, I’m not getting offers despite positive interviews. How do I differentiate myself? Should I get some sort of certification or specialty? This is getting depressing.
