Yes they mean something but within the context of the due diligence your counselor is doing. I think this year they may have slightly less weight as we are all figuring this out for the first time.

OP, what peer group are you. I see a pretty decent spread,with most people in the 4-4.5 range. Definitely not clustered in the top right corner.
