Do SMs at ACN get an expense account or how does it work for taking clients/teams out for drinks etc? Also is ACN largely back in the office or still hybrid? I’m in NYC for context.

Their own personal expense account? Lol. SMs, depending on projects, have expense accounts built into their project budgets and maybe even have a BD code they could hit. I will say coming from B4, expensing is far more stringent/stingy at ACN so don’t expect to ball out. Office is open in NYC, but project dependent and not a requirement.

From my understanding only MDP’s have a discretionary budget for stuff like happy hours, client relations etc. And those are also closely monitored. Most just put it as a non-billable expense on the account and eat their margins.

Hey guys. I have a soon to be nonprofit church struggling because they already started services (collecting offerings too against my advice) before things were set with an EIN and they gave an event already planned out and are trying to find a way to spend and collect before the things are in order. They want to know if one of their small business owners can expense and collect then consider it a donation. Is this possible? Any advice or loopholes that are Legal and will avoid issues later on?
