I’d say no. Show your ability to creativity solve problems that led to reel-worthy work...then link to work
We all make great things... sorry coming in hot for no reason because I had to review a 50 page deck that a client isn't going to read then saw this post lol

Dont waste your time... wtf you making a technical manual 90 page deck...get the f out of here lol also clients dont read all those decks.

I would want to see the insight alongside the work. The real one that doesn’t line up perfectly with the final work but got the ball rolling.
But no you don’t and shouldn’t have this. It’s not your work
You don’t need one but you should have one. Only include ideas you directly impacted and don’t listen to Bbdo1 who probably doesn’t know the difference between idea and execution.
I know the Strategist doesnt do either of those, Fancypants.
I really hate the idea that a Strategist would walk around saying that a brief they wrote--plus of course the multiple "check ins" along the way where they "weighed in" and "made sure the work was right" (and "effectively acted like a Creative Director") was the secret formula for an idea or execution or anything else that got produced.
Bring some briefs, bring some decks, definitely be proud of your work--but Im sticking to my guns--Strategists dont have a reel of finished, produced ads that they take credit for. (Even though you are lovely people!)
