As i am a married woman ,she is asking is there any plan to start your family soon ? Earlier i have changed company twice but never face this question .Any female employee can help me .Is it is normal or not ?or they will give immense pressure that's why they asked . Please help me .

You wouldn’t be a peasant but not rich either. And salary needs to be adjusted for the fact we carry little to no college and MBA debt. Moving over with that type of debt is harsh though.
Yes, lived in US and UK with McKinsey, and my husband at BCG. Significantly less in UK, and hours more.
But enough to live comfortably for sure, you are still on a higher salary than your friendship groups by a lot, it’s really reflective of all wages in the US v UK (wage inflation, lower taxes, growing economy / not Brexit, lower cost of living at least in Chicago where I live)
