First - sounds like congratulations are in order!!second - My 2 cents: discuss with your doctor early on and prepare to follow all advice to the letter. You are not required, nor should you (IMHO) share details of your pregnancy or likely needs until you have gotten well into the first trimester, like 10-12 weeks, with confirmation that yours appears to be a healthy, normal pregnancy. With that good news as part of the context, begin with HR and let everyone know your needs. Travel limitations in third trimester are individualized based on health issues. My doctor did not encourage travel out of town at all in months 8 and 9. Good luck!

My doctor had me stop travelling at 32 weeks. I was on a longer term project traveling every week and notified the client at 21-22 weeks. I then worked remotely for the client until 38 weeks. Being on a long term client/project made it way easier for them to plan for my absence. No need to sit out on most of a year worth of work because you'll need to roll off. They deal with that stuff all the time with people quitting etc. If you do still travel every week and haven't gotten through first trimester yet, pro tip: steal those airplane barf bags. You never know when you will get suddenly sick Also congratulations and definitely join the mom consulting bowl. The ladies in it helped me so substantially throughout my pregnancy

Is it worth having a travel industry CC (ie Marriott)? I used to travel all the time for work but won’t be anymore and don’t plan to in the future so I’m not going to accumulating hotel points but don’t have enough for 100% free stays and want to start booking some trips in the near future. I currently only have CSR and CF.

Cut from a project, covid19 impact. If you need experience, pm, diverse industry, technical and business.

I’ve done several representations for purchasers just to make sure they are adequately represented and working with their realtor. Recently had a potential client reach out to be their personal representative of a large home purchase (foreign individual) without a realtor. Is there an industry standard fee? I was leaning 1-2% of purchase price.

One basic question on long term travel. The income is shown as my income plus whatever I spent as part of deloitte due to travel. Due to this I'll fall in higher tax bracket. So will deloitte pay for that additional tax that Ill end up paying on my actual salary due to higher bracket taxes?

This is about internal reviews. The one that happens before client presentation. In my experience, these reviews have become very tasking over the last few years. Everyone is riding on assumptions. Biases trickle in. “Hey what about my idea?” is often thrown in. It maybe a thing in my agency. But if its happening at your place as well, how do you guys tackle it? It often happens that the client refers to the lack of idea that dies in these internal reviews. Any words of wisdom? Any insights?

M here. I’ve done a lot therapy and reflection and realized I grew up believing in traditional gender roles. Although I logically believe in equality, I find myself desiring a traditional “wife stays at home and tends to the house” life.
