Empirical research I’ve seen says yes. There was a British piece of research saying that you could track declines in a woman’s salary for each additional kg of weight she had on (I think the point was they didn’t see this phenomenon as pronounced for men).
I never wore any makeup till I was 42, tried wearing it for fun during a family wedding and liked the look, started light makeup for the past 2 years, FWIW, I pass on as mid thirty, I do feel fresh longer and more confident in general.
