Some practices have higher comp due to increased travel expectations. For example, Deloitte has their "Core Consultants" that are/were expected to be on the road all the time and therefore received higher pay/benefits than "US Delivery Center Consultants" that only had minimal travel.

Yes. It's proven that partners with better WLB have lower comp generally. See Alright, Collab, etc. Better WLB doesn't mean lower quality.

Does anyone in the Workday practice at any partner have a car allowance?

You would find a car allowance in a sales role more than an implementation consultant type role. Like a pharmaceutical rep ..

Anyone successfully negotiate compensation at firm that officially doesn’t allow for origination credit? Have brought in small clients in the past but this one is a big one and huge for the group and the firm. I’m not exactly doing this out of the goodness of my heart so would appreciate any advice on how to navigate the conversation. For reference, client specifically brought their work to my group so that they could work with me and it’s a personal contact of mine.
