Do y’all expense subway rides from your firm’s office to client office/back? I know the trip to my office is considered part of my normal commute but curious if these extra trips can be expensed.

Everything within 50 miles radius from my home can't be expended according to the acn policy. However, I take advantage of the commuter benefits program which allows paying for my metrocard pre-tax.

I use commuter benefits for to/from work, but I have a separate metro card that I expense for trips to client offices.

This is for ACN fish or ex acn fish. The project I'm on (more like a staff aug but we're there to support the client deliver their internal project) isn't doing well. I'm new to ACN - well, big consulting in general, so trying to understand what that means for us, and for me? (Also, for context - I'm one of the 4 SM's on this engagement (it's a large client and we have a 10+ team)). Continued in comments below...

To con't the conversation on engagement rings💍 - what do they symbolize to you? My BF and I got into a discussion about this last night. He views them as an investment and an "asset" on the books for his future family. He also has grandparents who had to finance their trip to America by selling their jewels. I see the ring as more of a gift to the future bride that is an expense that can be sold for money if needed, but isn't an investment. I'm fine w/ lab grown, he is not. Thoughts?
