No reason for them to be rude about it, but I wouldn't expect the Director to share with you what they are discussing with other parents about the behavior of their children.
That part is fair, and I didn't ask them to share their discussions. But I did expect some kind of assurance other than "we're dealing with it.. mind your own business". She said it with a few more words but that's basically the gist. This kid has been hitting kids for a month, to the point of scratches and bruises. Clearly it's not being dealt with at home so am I crazy to think that the school should do something at this point?
First time I thought maybe it was me and let it slide but second time I really don't see where I was the instigator so I'm wondering if others have similar situations or if you have an approach for handling difficult situations. In this case, there is a child in the class that is repeatedly hitting the other children, and I am asking what is being done to fix this.
