Do you all think that the economy is really hot or is this some kind of temporary phenomenon and we are going to fall into the recession soon?

Economy is hot, but not bulletproof. Fed tightening and QT could overcorrect and put us in a recession again. And the situation in Ukraine just adds more uncertainty

Cost cutting projects instead of revenue expansion projects

Leading indicators even aside from Russia are not good.

Historical levels indicate a full bubble across most all asset classes. Without prop up continuing it's bound to recess.

Getting next to impossible for the Fed to continue to justify ZIRP/QE in a 3.9% unemployment rate and 7.5% inflation rate environment. Once rates are raised, the bubble will pop.

So what are you all doing about it? From a personal investing perspective…

Who let Acc1 in here?

Yup it’s recession time. Hold on to cash. Seems like a repeat of 2000 with bitcoin, nft, EVs and other tech stuff in the line of fire.

I see inflation and a huge sovereign debt issue. Do you see GDP growing? Heading toward a global crash. Catalyst for the great reset. I am long hard assets, precious metals, ag commodities etc. Good luck.

Sadly I’m thinking of keeping my sign on and pto payout in cash. Too risky to invest most of it with a recession looming. May need to use that if unemployed.

I just returned to bangalore last week via train. There I met one guy who was shifting to bangalore for the first time due to his job(Infosys). We talked for sometime. There he asked if its okay to keep his luggage for some time if situation arises as such. I thought the guy is new so I agreed to it and gave him his number.
Now after a week he calls me and says he wants to live at my apartment as his 14 day accomodation is getting over. I am a bit uncomfortable for this as he is a stranger.
