Do you also get anxiety that you’re spending most of your life just working? And not so much living it?

I used to, but then I remind myself everyday that I control my own decisions. I do things I enjoy outside of work and I also found I job that I also like. I’ve changed jobs and companies multiple times and I’ve been told it was a mistake to leave my job/company but I’m happier AND I make more money than if I would have stayed. Figure out what “living” means to you and do more of that. We work because most of the things we like to do require money.

Yes, I’m in public and make more money than I used to. I used to make $70k and now I make $90k. I live off about $40k a year, own my car and the rest I save/invest. I’m married with one kid and one on the way. I also really enjoy taxes and I also do tax work on the side. I feel bad for people that are unhappy with accounting, but somehow feel that’s the only option they have. We live in a world with so many opportunities compared to 10-15 years ago, so go and try something else. I know people that went back to school to become a nurse after they became a manager and they are 100x happier. I’m 37 so maybe I just see the world differently in terms of advancement and also I started making $31k out of college to put things into perspective.

It’s this terrible feeling of like anguish/unease in my gut, but I don’t have anything I’m worried about- it’s like my body wants to find something to worry about.

Any recommendations on health insurance. Am always taking the lowest deductible one, Rika adverse. I have a wife in the picture too currently in between jobs but most likely will be in my plan.

I would like to hear why high detectibles are a better alternative (given I'll pay fractions to the doctor if I have the low deductible one).

Hi fishes,
I'm 22 and planning to take a life insurance. I'm comparing all policies and max life seems attractive as it has good claim settlement ratio and less premiums. But there is no office near our area. My worry is that if there is a need to claim in future, it can be done all online by my nominee? Is it recommended to take policy online in any platform(like policybazaar)?
Other options I'm considering are SBI life, HDFC life which offices are available in my locality.
