If it keeps me from other work, yes, but I also generally continue prepping for the meeting while waiting. If most people are assembled and some straggler is running late such that the client asks to delay the start, I feel fine running the timer even if I’m just staring at their heads on zoom.
FWIW, if it’s phone or zoom and they’re a total no show, I won’t wait more than about 10 minutes before I email to say sorry we missed each other and suggest scheduling a new time if needed.
