Do you ever fill in those feedback surveys after a call with some company (e.g. insurance or travel)? Do you every give negative feedback when it's deserved? Just realized it's a waste of time

Why do you say it’s a waste of time?

Every time I give back feedback they contact me. If I've had a bad experience I probably don't want to be contacted ever again and if my issue was not resolved it's probably because they are unable to do so

I’ve done one of those and I was followed up with discount vouchers and/or gift cards. Def not waste of time if you have some legit thing to say.

How do you expect a company to identify and resolve internal issues if they are never made aware? Also, the people who contact you as a result of those surveys usually have a high skill set and approval thresholds to make the situation right

I already provided enough information in the feedback form if they really cared. These are not companies selling things and concerns I raised were around privacy and making the experience easier to use. In the use instance they just called to tell me where to find the right info which I already found without trying to understand where their info could be misleading and therefore improved

I fill in these forms in order to help them identify and resolve issues. But instead of helping, I don't think they are using the info I give to improve, but rather they just try to explain themselves

And that is BS. You’re right, that’s not the proper way for them to use it. That’s a poorly thought out feedback loop. If your issue has been resolved and there’s nothing more to do, at most a note acknowledging their error and room for improvement is in order. If you’ve explained there’s nothing more for them to do and they still reach out to “resolve” an already resolved issue, you’re absolutely right - it’s useless and aggravating. Companies like that decrease the likelihood people will respond to companies that actually take action on that feedback

Are companies looking to hire more minorities and people who identify as LGBTQ+? I saw a post about a job listing for a Big 4 and it said it had a strong preference for people who identify as LGBTQ+ or a minority racial group. Does this mean they have a higher chance of getting the job? Not trying to start any political debates, I’m just generally curious.
