Do you ever think English is the universal language?

No, English is not the universal language. Money is.

It isn't primarily because of American culture, although that has been an accelerant. British colonialism set the stage for it. While English is not a universal language, it is undeniably the lingua franca of the world and has been for a few hundred years.

It seems to be, but that is because American culture, movies and politics are so prevalent. That being said, it makes life easier to find people that speak english when traveling abroad

English is the universal languages. If someone from Finland wishes to order a fish entree at a restaurant in Dubai, she speaks to the Arab waiter in English. If someone from Mexico City goes to Budapest, he orders his beer in English. English is an auxiliary language that people use because it is unreasonable for everyone to learn every language to where they are going. You meet in the middle and speak English.

It is. It's easy to learn.

I'm not a rich man, but is 250k a lot of money? Sure in some parts yes, but not in major cities. If u make that much on ur own, ur doing well. But it's not hard to make that with dual income. (Cont.)

Just heard about this Goldman Sachs survey. Why didn’t those overworked analysts just sleep more? Like it’s not that hard? Idk just feels like they’re complaining.
