No because I can’t think of a single thing which would keep you out of work for a month and is minor

Those working in consulting at big 4..are you constantly seeing yourself working 50+hrs during Covid and just being told to keep doing it? To what extent can we push back? Hello 🐠, I have been on a project that I do not like, has absolutely obliterated my work life balance, and put me under a lot of stress. Not to say this doesn’t happen a lot in our job, but I have an opportunity to go back to an old client that I loved. My current project leadership knows the date I’m set to roll off, but have been hinting they won’t let me leave because I’m good at my job. I am so desperate to leave and have been advised by multiple colleagues to do so. What do I do??

If all the top consulting firms made anonymous decks or gave anonymous pitches to a client, eg no branding and the client did not know which firm made which deck, do you actually think that the client would prefer MBB? Is MBB actually coming up with better/more innovative solutions? I feel like I see many repeat or slightly altered solutions on almost all of my cases, are these really things that people at Deloitte/Accenture etc aren’t coming up with?

Need counsel: Left advertising to go client side last year. Working at a huge company isn’t for me long-term but the money is great, I have more balance and actually raised my kids this year. I have the opportunity to be a c-suite leader at a very small agency on the rise. Super confused. Money will be less, long-term opportunity will be more. Also thinking about having another kid soonish.

Boomers are often considered selfish, right? Consider the following: People over the age of 75 comprise 54% of COVID deaths. At that age, the actuarial tables aren’t exactly favorable to begin with. By contrast, people under the age of 50 comprise 7% of COVID deaths. Throwing the world into a state of absolute chaos (thereby sticking younger generations with the long-term consequences) is next level.
