I guess I was thinking the time is less important than the fact it's in your home city

like

Usually, cos I'm landing pretty late.

like

Yeah. Do they ask you what time you got dinner? I wanted to grab dinner at 4, do they check

like

Always

Don't let your manager push you around

Always expense Thurs night

like

Definitely. Thursday nights is fair gane

like

No, I have coworkers that have been at PwC for 15 years and have never been audited

like

If you're willing to tell a partner why you did it, go for it. Landing at 8 and having zero time to get groceries is a no brainer for me.

like

I think if you get home after 6-7, it's fair game

like

Just know that the Audit team will flag dinner meal expenses in your home city - just had to have Coach approval for the charges but it's still a pain in the ass if you're audited

like

It's against policy - first meal Monday travel isn't reimbursable, last meal Thursday. Same concept for per diem - M/ Th are 50%. That said, heck yes I expense it.

like

I feel like everyone on my project is pretty loose with expenses, so I have acted the same way.

like

While I think it's fair, I think it sets off flags to expense something for travel in your home city and not at an airport

If I'm not home before 7 yes

Game*

You technically aren't supposed to if you've already left the airport in your home city.

Depends if you need to submit a receipt or not, and at what limit.

Really s1? I have before like Monday mornings and never have gotten flagged

OP I was recently audited and they flagged the stupidest things. They didn't flag me pickup up a water bottle Monday morning in my home city but they flagged two Thursday dinners from 8 months ago
