Hi guys, I joined as a fresher in july and still I didnt get any project. I am shadowing a senior on a project. Last month I had mailed my manager asking for project ,he said he will get back to me with a suitable opportunity. I am still waiting and on non billable code but I can't wait anymore. How do I politely follow up with my manager again asking him to allign me on some project? or should I directly ask him if there are projects or not. (Company -Deloitte)

Then next company I convinced anyhow them by showing my appointment letter and payslips to 2nd company and its been more than a year here. Now I want to switch I would get 1 year of experience/relieving letter from here. I am a java developer and I am making a switch and joining a product-based company in July. I am scared that the knowledge and experience i had at Infosys will not be enough to be able to work effectively at new firm given I have 7+ yrs of experience.
I am scared what if I get fired for not performing up to the mark.
I had theoretical knowledge of few java frameworks and no real project experience, but i didn't mention that in the interview. Would that backfire?
